§21-11-12. License renewal, lapse and reinstatement.
(a) A license which is not renewed on or before the renewal date shall lapse. The board may establish by regulation a delayed renewal fee to be paid for issuance of any license which has lapsed:
Provided, That no license which has lapsed for a period of ninety days or more may be renewed:
Provided, however, That, if a licensee is in a dispute with a state agency, and it is determined that the licensee is not at fault, the board shall renew the license.
(b) In the event that continuing education or other requirements are made a condition of license reinstatement after lapse, suspension or revocation, such requirements must be satisfied before the license is reissued.
