Aid to families with dependent child--school attendancerequired--rules.

208.048. 1. A dependent child eighteen years of age shall,in order to retain eligibility for aid to families with dependentchildren, be enrolled as a full-time student in a public orprivate secondary school, or an equivalent level of vocational ortechnical school in lieu of secondary school, and reasonablyexpected to complete the program of the secondary school, orequivalent vocational or technical training.

2. The department of social services shall promulgate rulesand regulations to carry out the provisions of this sectionpursuant to section 660.017, RSMo, and chapter 536, RSMo.
