Waiting period required, when.

208.646. There shall be a thirty-day waiting period after enrollmentfor uninsured children in families with an income of more than two hundredtwenty-five percent of the federal poverty level before the child becomeseligible for insurance under the provisions of sections 208.631 to 208.660.If the parent or guardian with an income of more than two hundredtwenty-five percent of the federal poverty level fails to meet theco-payment or premium requirements, the child shall not be eligible forcoverage under sections 208.631 to 208.660 for six months after thedepartment provides notice of such failure to the parent or guardian.
