Appointment of agents--bond--action on bond.

265.050. The director may appoint employees and agents toassist in carrying out the provisions of this chapter, and mayfix their compensation. The director may require any suchemployee or agent and any inspector licensed under this chapterto execute and file with him a good and sufficient bond, payableto the state, in such sum, not exceeding one thousand dollars andwith such sureties, as he may prescribe, conditioned upon thefaithful performance of such employee, agent or licensedinspector of his duties as such employee, agent, or licensedinspector. Any person injured by the failure of such employee,agent or licensed inspector faithfully to perform such dutiesshall be entitled to sue on such bond in his own name in anycourt of competent jurisdiction for the recovery of such damagesas he may have sustained by reason of such failure.
