Employee of fire protection district or ambulance district not tobe member of board, exception.

321.017. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 321.015,no employee of any fire protection district or ambulance districtshall serve as a member of any fire district or ambulancedistrict board while such person is employed by any fire districtor ambulance district, except that an employee of a fireprotection district or an ambulance district may serve as amember of a voluntary fire protection district board or avoluntary ambulance district board.
