§ 14‑101. Obtainingsignatures by false pretenses.
If any person, with intent todefraud or cheat another, shall designedly, by color of any false token orwriting, or by any other false pretense, obtain the signature of any person toany written instrument, the false making of which would be punishable asforgery, he shall be punished as a Class H felon.
