Counterferfeiting andIssuing Monetary Substitutes.
§ 14‑13. Counterfeitingcoin and uttering coin that is counterfeit.
If any person shall falselymake, forge or counterfeit, or cause or procure to be falsely made, forged orcounterfeited, or willingly aid or assist in falsely making, forging orcounterfeiting the resemblance or similitude or likeness of any coin of gold orsilver which is in common use and received in the discharge of contracts by thecitizens of the State; or shall pass, utter, publish or sell, or attempt topass, utter, publish or sell, or bring into the State from any other place withintent to pass, utter, publish or sell as true, any such false, forged orcounterfeited coin, knowing the same to be false, forged or counterfeited, withintent to defraud any person whatsoever, every person so offending shall bepunished as a Class I felon.
