§14‑205.  Prosecution; in what courts.

Prosecutions for the violationof any of the provisions of this Article shall be tried in the courts of thisState wherein misdemeanors are triable except those courts the jurisdiction ofwhich is so limited by the Constitution of this State that such jurisdictioncannot by statute be extended to include criminal actions of the characterherein described.
