§ 27-6-32 Review of application of ratingsystem to insured. Every rating organization and every insurer which makes its own rates shallprovide within this state reasonable means where any person aggrieved by theapplication of its rating system may be heard, in person or by his or herauthorized representative, on his or her written request to review the mannerin which the rating system has been applied in connection with the insuranceafforded that person. If the rating organization or insurer fails to grant orreject that request within thirty (30) days after it is made, the applicant mayproceed in the same manner as if the application had been rejected. Any partyaffected by the action of the rating organization or insurer on his or herrequest may, within thirty (30) days after written notice of the action, appealto the commissioner, who, after a hearing held upon not less than ten (10) dayswritten notice to the appellant and to the rating organization or insurer, mayaffirm or reverse the action.
