76-10-1211. Separability clause.
If any clause, sentence, paragraph, or part of this part or its application to any person orcircumstance shall for any reason be adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to beinvalid, the judgment shall not affect, impair, or invalidate the remainder of this part or itsapplication to other persons or circumstances but shall be confined in its operation to the clause,sentence, paragraph, persons, or circumstances, or part thereof directly involved in thecontroversy in which the judgment shall have been rendered.
