§ 53.1-115. Payment of salaries of superintendents and medical and treatmentpersonnel.

The Commonwealth shall pay two-thirds of the salaries of the superintendentsand approved medical and treatment personnel of such jails. The otherone-third shall be paid pro rata by the participating political subdivisions.Such salaries shall be paid in the manner provided in § 15.2-1609.2, and suchsection shall be applicable mutatis mutandis to superintendents of such jails.
