§ 53.1-116.2. Sheriffs to be keepers of jails.
The sheriff of each county or city shall be the keeper of the jail thereofunless that locality is a member of a jail or jail farm board or regionaljail authority, in which case the provisions of § 53.1-106 shall apply.
