§ 53.1-133.01. Medical treatment for prisoners.

Any sheriff or superintendent may establish a medical treatment program forprisoners in which prisoners participate and pay towards a portion of thecosts thereof. The Board of Corrections shall develop a model plan andpromulgate regulations for such program, and shall provide assistance, ifrequested, to the sheriff or superintendent in the implementation of aprogram.
